Stephanie Szigethy, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS, CCTP is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ Lic #37PC00595200), a Nationally Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a specialized concentration in Psychology. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. Stephanie has also presented and published clinical research nationally and internationally. She has a history of experience providing crisis response, psychological first aid, and stress debriefing in the aftermath of trauma. She has provided training for first-responders and healthcare professionals to reduce burnout and compassion fatigue. She has also taught at a local university and finds joy in giving back to her profession by teaching counselors-in-training. Stephanie is passionate about holding a compassionate, trusted space to help individuals navigate through the uncomfortable, difficult, or "unglamourous" periods of their lives, and she endeavors to support her clients to find healing, restore hope, and experience peace. Stephanie most often works with those challenged with life-impacting adjustments or transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma recovery, self-esteem and anxiety, struggles in motherhood (including postpartum depression/anxiety/life balance), and those in recovery from chemical dependence. Stephanie strives to be genuine and "real" in her relationships with clients and believes that creating an atmosphere of safety and comfort is paramount. She has been helping individuals, couples, and families heal for nearly a decade. She is integrative in her approach, which means that she uses a combination of techniques to provide a very personalized client experience.
